CALL 262-632-9463 TO CHECK IF ANY SEATS ARE AVAILABLE!
Please join us on Tuesday, August 22nd starting at 6:30pm as we welcome Tony Gatti from Quintessential Wines. Tony will lead a discussion and tasting on the wines of George Duboeuf from Beaujolais and the Mâconnais, France.
In addition to managing the award-winning portfolio of Quintessential Wines in the Midwest, Tony is a certified sommelier and an approved educator for the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and French Wine Scholar programs, respectively.
This is a singular opportunity to learn about the iconic region at the Southern end of Burgundy with its ancient history, unique viticulture and production techniques, and a surprising amount of diversity all coming from the Gamay varietal. Beaujolais is far more than just the fresh and fruity Nouveau that comes out on the 3rd Thursday of November each year.
We will be tasting two Chardonnays from Mâcon: a Mâcon -Villages and a Pouilly – Fuissé; and four wines made from Gamay, including three different Cru Beaujolais and one single estate wine made in the 2015 vintage-of-the-century. We will also provide a light appetizer plate to cleanse your palate between tastings.
All this for only $20 per person!
Sorry, NO WALK-INS will be accepted, reservations are required.
